Why it exists

Racing is drowning in selections nobody can check: hunches, hindsight and quietly deleted losers. We built a scoring system that treats a Tuesday claimer and a Cheltenham feature with the same 15 signals, publishes its pick in every race before the off, and settles all of it where anyone can look. Some weeks flatter the bot, some don’t; either way the number is real, dated and still on the page.

Who runs it

The Racing Bot was built by Sam Hunt and Peter Black. The Racing Bot is a trading name of Prediction Labs Limited. Prediction Labs Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 17448989. It is not a bookmaker, it does not take bets and it never holds your money.

Where the data comes from

Racecards, declarations and official results come from a specialist UK and Irish racing data feed. Live exchange prices come from the Betfair Exchange through a read-only connection: it can read prices and cannot place a bet. Racing Post picks and named pundit selections are counted per runner, and each one shows in the score breakdown.

How the scores work

The bot’s scoring is built on the data serious form students already use: recent form, trainer and jockey strike rates, course and going records, market moves, pundit consensus and official ratings, in one pipeline that scores every runner in every UK and Irish race, refreshed every 30 seconds on race days. How the record is kept

The bot’s pick in each race is its top score before the off. When the race settles the result is frozen: finishing position and starting price. A non-runner is void and leaves the record; a horse that pulls up or falls counts as a loss. A daily check compares the record with the frozen copy, so it cannot quietly change. The record is on the stats page, and every day’s results on the results pages.

What the bot cannot do

It only knows what is in the data. It cannot see how a horse has been working at home, what a yard is planning, or a late change before the feed has it. Most picks lose, including high-scoring ones, and a good or bad week on its own means very little. Every figure we quote comes with the period and the number of runs behind it, so you can judge the sample yourself.

What we will never do

We don’t promise profits, we don’t hide losing runs, and we don’t bet for you. The Racing Bot never places a bet, never touches your money and never connects to a betting account. It scores races, sets its own price for every runner and keeps the record in public. We are not a bookmaker, we never hold your funds, and scores are information, never advice.

We take no payment from bookmakers, so nothing here is steered by who pays. And you can close your account any time in Settings: it goes, and every email stops at once.
