1000 Guineas 2027: the market right now
Musical Times is favourite for the 1000 Guineas 2027 at 4/1 (5.20), ahead of Sun Goddess at 13/2 (7.60). 15 horses are priced in the antepost market, which is read from the Betfair exchange once a day and has been tracked here for 23 days. The race is run on 2 May 2027 at Newmarket over .
Musical Times, Senorita Bonita have been backed since we started tracking; Alpha has drifted. Movement is measured against this market's own first reading, not against a bookmaker's board, so it shows where money has actually gone.
These are entries rather than the final field. When the 1000 Guineas field is declared a few days before the race, every runner is scored across the bot's 15 signals and the result settles in public afterwards, win or lose.
1000 Guineas - your questions
When is the 1000 Guineas 2027?
The 1000 Guineas is run at Newmarket on Sunday, 2 May 2027. It is a over , part of Newmarket 2nd May.
Who are the runners and riders in the 1000 Guineas 2027?
15 horses are currently in the antepost market for the 1000 Guineas, listed above with their live exchange price and how it has moved. That list is the entries, not the final field - jockeys are confirmed at declaration time, a few days before the race, and this page swaps to the declared runners with the bot's full scoring the moment they are published.
What are the odds for the 1000 Guineas 2027?
Every entry's live Betfair price is on this page, updated daily, along with the direction it has moved since we started tracking. Prices before declaration are antepost prices - they will change, sometimes sharply, as the season's trials are run.
Will the 1000 Guineas runners be scored by the bot?
Yes. Newmarket is on our racecard, so when the final field for the 1000 Guineas is declared, every runner is scored across the same 15 signals used on every other UK and Irish race that day - and the result settles in public afterwards, win or lose.
Why back the 1000 Guineas antepost rather than on the day?
Antepost prices are bigger because the risk is bigger - your selection has to get to May fit, in training and declared. What this page adds is the shape of the market over time: a horse that has halved in price since the spring is telling you something a single day's price cannot.
What does antepost mean?
Antepost betting is backing a horse before the final field is declared - often months before the race. Prices are usually bigger than they will be on the day, because there is more that can go wrong: the horse has to stay fit, stay in training and be entered and declared to run.
What happens to an antepost bet if the horse does not run?
On a traditional antepost bet, the stake is lost if your horse does not line up - there is no refund for a non-runner. That is the trade for the bigger price. Markets priced 'non-runner no bet' return the stake instead, and bookmakers usually switch to those terms closer to the race. Check the terms before you bet; we do not place bets and this is not advice.
Where do the odds on this page come from?
Live from the Betfair exchange, read and stored every day. That means the prices here are what people are actually trading at rather than a bookmaker's board, and because we keep every day's reading we can also show which way each horse has moved - the steamers and the drifters - rather than only where it stands today.
Is this page free?
The market, the movers and the entries are free and need no account. What is behind an account is the bot's own read: each entry's record dialled into the course and distance, and, once the final field is declared, the full 15-signal score on every runner.
